This project started with a clearance of all trees and shrubs. The stylish garden building was built by our sister company Kennedy Garden Retreats.
The garden design process for this particular project works back to front. The design process wasn’t started until the near completion of the building.
Due to the garden building being at a lower level to the surrounding areas we built two retaining walls. One was a gabion wall filled with rocks and the other was built from a beautiful stylish grey Bivio brick with black mortar joints to bring out the impact of the bricks.
The contrast of the old and new work beautifully between the garden building and the landscaping.
A grey sandstone slab was chosen for the surrounding patio and side finished with a granite set edging.
We also constructed a pathway from the gate to the front of the landscaping. This was done with a granite edge and a self-binding gravel.
We all at Kennedy Landscapes take great pride in our work and love transforming outdoor spaces come in many shapes and sizes along with many different uses. At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
