This garden in Haywards Heath was looking old and tired in need of a makeover. The customer wanted to retain the structure with a few additions.
The choice of grey sandstone slabs work much better with the bi-fold doors then the existing fossil paving. The old railway sleepers were replaced with new softwood sleepers.
The right hand flower bed was taken out apart from a few plants, with the artificial grass fitted around them. The left hand side flower bed was rebuild using granite sett edging.
We built a small barbecue at the end of the flower bed and the paving around the shed works beautifully with the plants placed within the paving and the granite setts built with a sweeping curve.
When a garden that has a lot of straight lines and right angles it often needs to be softened. By adding a curve like we did with the granite edged flower bed softens the space. The prestige artificial grass was 38mm pile light green that is perfect as the customers have pets.

At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
