This garden was one of our favourites and was a pleasure to construct! In part, because pond design in gardens are not as popular as they once were. The existing pond, home to 200 fish was falling apart and the softwood decking had rotted through in many places. As a result, a brand new pond and garden patio were in order!
Even though the customers were keen gardeners with an allotment, they wanted a garden that would be easily maintained. The curved walling at the back works perfectly with the garden, allowing for planting in the spring.
The decking area was constructed with composite decking, a very hard-wearing material that requires no painting or maintenance. This area forms a great space for some garden furniture to enjoy the sun.
The grey sandstone paving looks great and all we even constructed ‘falls’ within the patio to take excess rainwater into the pond!
We all at Kennedy Landscapes take great pride in our work and love transforming outdoor spaces come in many shapes and sizes along with many different uses. At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
