Patio and Pathways with Slat Fencing & Artificial Grass

After many years of battling with the large clay flower beds, weed-ridden block paving and rotten softwood decking, Barry and Jane decided that enough was enough. It was time to invest in putting the garden straight once and for all and install a brand new patio with artificial grass to bring their home back to life!

They contacted Kennedy Landscapes with a design in mind and with a few adjustments and suggestions, the garden design had all the elements that they wanted and a few months later, was transformed into a garden that they will enjoy for many years to come!

Patio With Artificial Grass

Work started in December and Barry and Jane were surprised at the amount of earth piled high in the front garden during the excavation. It was difficult in the early stages to see what the end result would look like!

We battled through the winter and about 80% of the job was carried out in rain. The only weather we didn’t get was snow! However, the tea and coffee with biscuit supply was second to none and kept us going when the end seemed nowhere in sight!

We carried on through the tough winter and it wasn’t until the last week or so of the job that we had dry weather. Thank God!

The Raj blend sandstone patio and paths worked beautifully with the granite sett edging and we kept it the same throughout to keep the consistency. A patio with artificial grass isn’t for everyone but it worked so well with this project and will look great all year round with very little maintenance required.

We popped back to fix a drainpipe a few months later and were delighted to see the garden looking even better with Jane’s attention (and Barry’s digging) to detail in plant selection looked just fantastic!
