The owner of this back garden in Worthing wanted something different to the existing landscape that was overgrown with weeds and plants that did not look good.
Water features are a more design and build as you go type of project. It was decided early in the design process to make it a pod-less water feature instead of going into a pond.
The project wasn’t without its challenges and battling the elements wasn’t easy. But the end result was worth it as you can see from the after photos and video.
Unlike most water features of this type where the shapes and falls are carved out of the existing landscape, we had to build up the slope and contours of the water feature.
The structure was built with a variety of concrete forms and blockwork, This has been covered with Horsham stone to create a stunning water feature with five water drops and a rockery that has been finished with a variety of water and rockery plants.
Garden lighting with three pond lights displays the water feature beautifully at night. There in nothing more tranquil than listening to running water especially from a fantastic water feature like this one.
