This beautiful cottage in Burgess Hill has an old crazy paved patio that was repointed badly a few years ago and with the rest of the garden looking great, the owners took the jump to get the patio updated, just as the property deserved.
After visiting our garden display at Hickstead, the customers decided that we were the best company for the job and we started work as soon as possible!
The old farmhouse brick walls that we had built at the display were a perfect fit for their patio to replace the existing walling. During the excavation, we discovered that the two oak posts were not fully supporting the building above, so we added matching brick pillars to offer the support that was needed.
A brand new Raj Green sandstone patio was laid which works brilliantly in the traditional style space to complement the existing style. The natural riven surface offers some great variations which are just what the space needed to tie everything together without losing any of the property’s charm.
We all at Kennedy Landscapes take great pride in our work and love transforming outdoor spaces come in many shapes and sizes along with many different uses. At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
