This garden was inherited by the new owners of this fantastic property hidden away behind Lindfield high street.

The back garden was a great size but the lawn was low and uneven with rotten timber edging all around and the customer decided that a fresh lawn and pergola would be just what the garden needed for them to be able to use the space properly.

Due to the level of the existing lawn, we decided to construct a solid edge that wasn’t going to move and built this from scratch with solid oak sleepers supported with posts concreted into the ground. This formed solid edging needed to bring up the level of the lawn.

After battling with the winter elements and many tonnes of new topsoil, we brought up the level of the garden, laid a brand new lawn with oak sleeper edging and installed a new pergola too!
