A very common issue for new build properties is that regardless of size, the supplied patio area is always disproportionate to the house! We installed a brand new patio extension for this family for everyone to be able to make the best use of the garden.
The side of the house was shaped in a triangle, so we managed to create enough space for a small garden shed in the corner. The patio extension opened up the whole area to incorporate a good-sized table and chairs as well as plenty to keep the kids entertained.
By the back fence was some old metal fencing and, even though they were not overlooked by neighbouring properties, the fence gave on so much privacy. We created a new curved edge and planted red robins to add some privacy but also trees that could be controlled in shape and size.
Under the large oak tree, we created a new lawn area and covered the beds with bark to help suppress weeds.
We all at Kennedy Landscapes take great pride in our work and love transforming outdoor spaces come in many shapes and sizes along with many different uses. At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
