This customer had a cheap lawn laid a few years ago and is an example that you get what you pay for! The grass was of poor quality and the ground preparation was non-existent! They contacted Kennedy Landscapes to come in and rescue their lawn, as well as lay a new Raj Blend patio.
On digging up the existing lawn, we soon found that the builders had buried the waste from the house right under the lawn! The amount of rubble made it impossible to rotavate, so we laid a brand new base of topsoil 100mm deep.
The customer also wanted a new patio area with a slope leading down to the grass instead of the existing steps. They asked for a traditional, natural lawn with some brand-new flower beds and we were very happy to oblige! The choice of Raj Blend sandstone slabs was chosen to complement the traditional design and surroundings. The natural stone paving works great within the project to add some subtle colours to the garden and the beautifully curved flower bed running along both sides allows plenty of room for planting!
We all at Kennedy Landscapes take great pride in our work and love transforming outdoor spaces come in many shapes and sizes along with many different uses. At the end of the day the most important thing it to have a outdoor space that the customers is happy with. And that has been achieved with this project.
