Cottage Garden Transformation
This cottage garden had become so overgrown that it was difficult to walk from one end to the other! We were called in to take the space through a total transformation and take care of all garden maintenance to allow the customers the best use of all the space available.
The clear-out uncovered a lot of flower beds that had become overgrown with weeds. The customer wanted a garden that worked well with the age of the cottage but was also a lot easier to maintain. Based on this, we decided to take out all flower beds apart from one and lay a new lawn over the whole area.
There was an unused greenhouse that we replaced with a small sandstone patio, which is perfectly positioned for a table and chairs to enjoy the sun!
The garden overlooked the local cricket pitch and was divided by a low wire fence. We constructed a more secure alternative closed-board fencing with a trellis at the top for better security without being too high or obstructive.
