Total transformation of a back garden in Haywards Heath
This project started with a clearance of all trees and shrubs. The garden design process started before the clearance was completed and once the trees were gone, it totally changed the whole garden.
It was originally thought the only place in the garden the sun got to was the top right side, but once the trees were cut down it allowed the sun to easily get to the whole top level of the garden. The garden re-design allowed for a larger paving area and new lawn.
The old farmhouse brick wall works well with buff coloured sandstone slabs and the main feature was the half circle step joining the lower and upper sections of the patio.
The closed board fencing along the left hand side of the property was added to the work as it became apparent it needed to be done at the same time as the rest of the work. We recommended that slotted concrete posts were used as the panels could easily be changed in the future without disturbing the new wall and paving in the future.
